a night out.

well on saturday, it was gary the magician's birthday.

where did he have his birthday? well it was held at the MTR (magic theatre restaurant) which is located at sunway piramid.

yeah, so as the name says, it has a stage where at certain times, on certain days, the magicians will come out and perform.

and also apparently, every one of the staff that serves you is actually supposed to show you a trick. but sadly none of them did. the quality of this restaurant is really starting to go down. i mean why give out false information to people when none of what they say is actually true. its not that i don't like this place, its really nice and all, but i just really hate it when people who open businesses sacrifice quality for efficiency. i mean whats the of coming to eat at this so called magic restaurant when there is actually no magic at all?

but anyway back to that night, as usual i was uber late for the party, but never the less the party was going. gary performed a few tricks and stuff and my brother did some too. the place was quite nice, there was some games to keep us occupied, but best of all, we had to pay for our own food! whee!! isn't that just so great?

hahaha... ok i sound really bad. but it was cool. among the games we had to play was to build a tower out of cards.
ok, well it didn't really get that high. we ran out of time when we finally came up with a really good idea of how to stack up the cards.

anyway the party was like any normal party. there was people everywhere, people talking, people laughing, people eating. but the thing that made this party different from another, was that we met

CHOWIE!

ok so her name ain't really chowie, its alicia. but i call her chowie anyway. chowie was my band slave once. we had a gig and she was the one who carried all our gear. but now it seems that she gave up with show biz to get into the restaurant business. she was one of the waitresses there.

ok so she just does it part time. but yeah, its always cool to see an old familiar face in a place where you wouldn't think you would find one.
