Sun, Sand and i don't surf...

so the answer to the question

What did the gang do after they settled in?

sadly, we did not start drinking straight away.

we went straight to the beach!

WHEE!! i love the beach!

so anyway, we hung around the place just chilling and practically doing nothing **what else are holidays for?**

here are a few pics of the whole group during dinner.

min ern, sam, kea leng, noel.

part of the other bunch of people from penang.

well after dinner, with our tummies all filled with food, we headed back to the rooms to start our fun drinking sessions.

*note: kea leng is totally wasted and taking a nap on the bed.

ok, there wasn't much photos. but i wasn't really in the mood to get wasted that day, so i had some fun pouring drinks for the rest and getting them drunk as hell.

min ern was one of them. when he gets high, he does this really weird impersonation of capt jack sparrow.

plus everything that comes out of his mouth doesn't seem to make any sense.

here is a video of one of those weird moments when everything he does and says doesn't seem to make any sense at all.

so anyways, after all that laughing and taking care of people who are totally wasted, we all just went to bed.

the next day we were all forced to wake up early and take a trip down to some small jetty which was close to awana porto malai.

so we hopped into the small boat and was on our way island hopping!

so the island hopping wasn't that great. actually let me rephrase that. IT TOTALLY SUCKED!!

i mean the places they brought us to was:

1. a place which was famous for its white sands
- i have no idea what was so famous about that place. the only thing there was to see was white rough sands, which totally sucked. when you walk into the water, its so painful to walk there because there were so much sharp broken shells on the ground. there were no fishes and there were no corals. only thing we could see there was monkeys humping each other. i mean seriously. we had to just burn 45 minutes of our time just to wait for the boat man to come pick us up and save us from that place.

**i was 5 seconds late. if i were just a little earlier, you would see 2 monkeys connected at the hip on that small mound right where that little tree is. instead you see 2 monkeys walking away after a great 10 seconds of pleasure.

2. pulau singa to watch eagles
- this is the place where people go to see the eagles that live on langkawi. the boatman would just stop in the middle of a cove, then throw some chicken guts into the sea to attract the eagles. sitting on the boat just watching the eagles was way more entertaining than the first place.

3. we went to tasik dayang bunting.
- this was basicly the highlight of the whole trip. there is some legend behind the lake, search it up if you want to know more about it. special thing about this lake is that its a fresh water lake which is located just 10 meters or less from the sea. and this lake is DEEP! like seriously deep. i would hate to jump into the water in the middle of the lake.

so anyways, on the way to the lake, we stopped by a point where we could see the mountains which was in the shape of a pregnant lady person lying down.

can you spot the pregnant lady?

see it now?

so we landed on dry land again. this time, we had to climb a long flight of stairs before we arrived at the lake.

so in the next post.

What happens at the lake?

did someone drown?

were we attacked by monkeys?

was there a sea monster in the lake?

all that would be revealed on my next post. in the mean time here is a picture of a monkey for you to look at.

oh btw, i forgot to mention. we came up with a nickname for kea leng. it was scro-tum. we even wanted to make little beer cups and label it with that nick name.
