well today i went to the batting cages with jolene, shahpur, jiameei, jocelyn and me!

damn... ok i just got a call and it seems that i have to go to work...

ok, so yet again it has been a long time since i last posted.

but oh well... i have still yet to finnish the phuket post.

but in the mean time, here are some shots of some old cameras that i have. i was playing around with this technique of photographing items where the background is totally white. so here are the results of my expetimentations.

this is an olympus OM10. a film camera of mine that has long gone unused.

next is my mums old kodak camera that we brought back from my grand mothers place in terengganu. this camera uses some sort of different film which is different from those normally used today. so i doubt that i would ever get this camera to work again...

so yeah, its really easy to set up this white background thing (cant remember what this technique is called). all you have to do is get a few pieces of white paper, and put it at the base of the camera and also at the back of the camera, carefully hiding away the gaps between the pieces of paper. take the photo and then you got your shot!

this last photo was taken when i was walking around my park. managed to get this OK only sun set shot.

here are some pictures that i took when i went to phuket before christmas.


this is a picture that i took while sitting on patong beach having a beer. the thai people here seem to love having dogs, and they take them everywhere!



this is a picture of bangla road in patong. yes, you read it right, its called bangla. its quite a cool place at night. this is the street where all the bars are located, lady man and pole dancers live. there is even a muai thai (kick boxing) stadium at the end of the street. at night they close this street off to traffic, thats why there is a huge amount of people on this street.


this is just some random picture that i took while walking around the area.


phuket is so cool, that they even sell guns in the open!!

hahah, you wish. those are BB guns. but they have a real good variety of real looking guns there.

there are loads of these signs everywhere! at least we know where to go when there is a tsunami.


this is a picture of the gay street of phuket. loads of gay people there. went there by accident becuase the tuk tuk that was taking us back to the hotel was dropping some other people at this street. sorry the pics aren't that good, as i was taking the pictures in the wrong setting and was in quite a hurry while the tuk tuk drove along this street.

well you are actually looking at a balcony full of thai guys dressed up in skimpy black leather outfits. whats worst is that they were freaking dancing with all the spot lights right on them!!


this is a picture of 2 jeeps that look like army jeeps. it was the first time i saw one up close.

now this is a picture of a fishing boat.

when we were on a boat on the way to phi phi island, this green fishing boat passed us, and there was this thai guy which was so damn funny on that fishing boat. as their boat was passing by mine, he carried out this really long pole with fish or something hanging on both ends and did some weight lifting while giving that ARGH!!! sound.

it was one of those " you had to be there to see it for yourself" kinda things.

new years eve party!

ok, its been a really long time, but finally i have found time to make a post.

this post is going to be on what i did on the new years eve. phuket pics will be posted soon.

anyway, 5 hours from midnight on newyears eve, i gave min ern a call to see if he had anything planned. so i got invited to his girlfriends place in damansara heights for the new years party.

im mostly going to post pics as now i've got a new camera but seem to have never posted pics since i have got it.

so here goes.

but sadly its going to be a short one.


at the house i met his minern's girlfriend for the second time, but i didn't remember meeting her before. so anyway her name is jill. really cool girl. her mum is from kuching and they had sarawak laksa!! whee!!

for those of you who don't know what sarawak laksa is, you are missing out. its a laksa food thinggy that is from sarawak, and its damn good!

so yeah, had sarawak laksa and after we had drinking games. the usual stuff.

how the game goes?

well its played on the xbox 360. its somewhat like guitar hero, but even better! this time you get to PLAY AS A BAND!! you can actually choose to be a bassist or guitarist, vocalist, and drummer! but sadly they didn't have the drum set yet, jill only had 2 guitars and the mic. such a cool game right?

whats better is that i spotted as many as 4 video consoles at jill's place. there was the nintendo wii, and old dreamcast, a ps2, and the xbox 360. it was some cool shit! plus they had loads of drinks :D

so we pretty much played rock band through the night. only left jill's place at about 5 i think. all in all it was a fun party.

ok, now i'm just adding random stuff as i am still waiting for some pictures to be uploaded before i can finnish posting up this post. ARGH!! its taking so freaking long!
